"Refund Nightmare: 15 Months of Deception"
I’ve been completely misled about a refund of $191. The original purchase was on March 6, 2022, and it took a whopping 17 days before I heard back about canceling my order. After three months and countless emails sent through every possible channel, I called them and was deceived at every turn by a so-called new representative who was just as unhelpful. Seriously, why does a refund have to go to accounting? It takes one click to take my money, just like when I was in grade 9 and got a French credit without knowing any French. The teacher asked if I knew any, I said no, and he just typed in 50% and hit Enter 19 years ago. I’m sure many folks here got some email saying sorry and offering 115% of their order for in-store credit, along with a list of products that were supposedly ready to ship right away. I was desperate for those items, so I took the 115%, but by the third day, nothing had shipped. I canceled and started reaching out again, only to get new people and more lies claiming it was canceled and a refund was on its way. TOTAL LIES. I must have sent at least 100 emails and only got replies six times. Now, it’s been 15 months, and no one has bothered to contact me. It’s not rocket science; they’ve clearly gone out of business. So, what now? When I asked the bank about this over a year ago, they told me that since I sent them the money, it’s not considered fraud or anything. UNBELIEVABLE CRIMINALS.

"My experience with Indoor Growing Canada..."
I ordered a trimmer from Indoor Growing Canada on July 29th, 2022, but they never sent it. They keep saying they'll fix it, but nothing happens. I've tried reaching out, but they just won't respond. Seriously, don't waste your time with this company!

You need to follow the right steps, like requesting a refund from IGC within a week of not getting your product. Don’t let them pull the old trick of saying, 'We sent it to our refund department' or 'We’re restructuring our company.'

Credit card companies have specific deadlines for when you can request a chargeback, so keep that in mind. IGC will try to stall, hoping you miss your chargeback window, which lets them get away with scamming you. Make sure to keep any evidence of your attempts to get a refund; the credit card company might want to see it. This is the approach I took, and if you’ve never filed a chargeback before, your first one should go through without any hassle.

"Took my cash and ran"
I had the same ordeal as many others lately. They kept throwing excuses at me about transferring funds or their accountants needing another month to process the refund, blah blah. This all went down in April 2022, and I eventually figured they must've gone bankrupt, leaving my $186 CDN in the dust. It's a real shame they can pull this off when they clearly knew they weren't going to deliver on orders all along. It's tough to see how many folks have been hit by this.

"Complete scam, no refund, no response"
Back in April 2022, I made an order for nutrients totaling 145 bucks. I kept waiting and waiting, and after roughly two months, they finally got back to me, claiming they were restructuring and that things would get better. Well, here I am still without my nutrients or any refund, and they just ignore my messages. How is this even allowed? I’m looking for justice and my cash back. Seriously, steer clear of these jokers!

"Avoid This Company at All Costs"
If I had the option, I'd give them a negative rating. This is hands down the worst place to purchase anything. They act like a bunch of crooks. I tried placing several orders, but they just couldn't manage their inventory to complete my requests. It's been a whole year, and I'm still waiting for my refund, just like so many others. It's ridiculous that they can't even send an email when you have an account with them. To all the gardening enthusiasts out there, steer clear of this business. Save your cash. Growlights Canada is way more reliable.

"Total Scam"
Just like many folks, I got taken for a ride on two purchases during the summer. They kept telling me they were swamped with orders and that mine would be sent out in a week... but that never came to pass. I used to receive my stuff, but that's not the case anymore. Maybe they’re too busy to remember they actually have a business to run...

"I feel cheated"
I requested a refund for an order that never got shipped (I canceled it right after I made the purchase)... they mentioned a 30-day wait.... now it's been 4 months. Seems like the company has gone belly up and they’ve taken my cash.

"The most frustrating company I've ever encountered"
This is honestly the most frustrating company I've ever dealt with. I've been hanging on for a refund since April, and they just stopped responding. Their customer service is terrible, and honestly, they feel like crooks since they take your cash and then act like they don't care.

"Took My Cash"
Took my cash. Hundreds of bucks, over three months gone by and no items sent. They don’t reply to emails, and the automated response is stuck back in fall 2022. It seems like they’re either out of business but still collecting money or they’re just a scam to rip people off. Total fraud. I’ll be reaching out to Visa for a refund and reporting this business.

"Avoid This Shop: Unfair Practices"
If I could rate this place lower, I definitely would.

I made a purchase on February 2, 2022, and I made sure to add enough to qualify for free shipping. Still, they hit me with a $20.88 charge for 'Special Shipping and Handling (Heavyweight/Oversize Item(s)).' Seriously? :\

A month went by with no word, so I reached out about my order. They told me that 'the supplier has had some issues on their end' and that they couldn't give me an estimated time of arrival. Two weeks later, still no ETA. I decided to cancel the whole order. On March 21, they said my 'refund will be processed within the next 30 days.'

I followed up for an update in May. On June 6, I got a message saying the company was 'in transition with a partner at the moment and expect to have things back to normal soon. Everything is on hold until the papers are signed.'

In July, I checked in again. IGC told me they 'are currently in transition with a new partner and Accounting is on hold until the papers are signed and delivered.'

Now it’s December, and it’s been over 10 months since I placed my order. I got charged a dubious shipping fee for an order that should’ve qualified for free shipping. No items were ever sent out, and my refund is still nowhere to be found.

Prices are decent, but my items never arrived, and I got no updates on my order. Tried reaching out via email and phone, but they just vanished. I've shopped here before without any problems. Now I'm figuring out how to either get my cash back or receive my stuff.

"50 days gone by, still no shipment or refund"
It's been over a month, and this company hasn't even tried to process my order. I had to go ahead and start a chargeback with my credit card provider. Now, I'm stuck waiting another month to see my money again. I have a feeling this company might be in trouble and is just pocketing the cash from customers, given the total silence, no refunds, and zero updates.
